Privacy Policy

Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how LeapBlock Markets, operated by LeapBlock Ltd., handles personal data collected through the website at https://leapblockmarkets.com. It applies only to this website. It does not cover any bilateral counterparty relationship, which is governed separately by the documentation of that relationship.

The site is informational. It does not offer accounts, logins, payments, or trading services, and it does not collect personal data beyond what is described below.

What we collect

We collect personal data only in two narrow circumstances:

  • Contact-form submissions. When you send a message through the contact form, we receive the fields you provide — typically name, email address, organisation, and the content of your message.
  • Server and edge logs. Our hosting provider records standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp, requested URL, response status) for operational and security purposes.

We do not operate analytics, behavioural tracking, advertising pixels, or session replay on this site.

Why we collect it

Contact-form data is used to read your message and reply to it. Log data is used to operate the website, defend against abuse, and diagnose technical issues. We do not use either dataset for marketing or for profiling.

Legal basis under the GDPR

We process personal data under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the GDPR) and the Bulgarian Personal Data Protection Act. The legal bases we rely on are:

  • Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) — for contact-form submissions, to take steps at your request and to pursue our legitimate interest in responding to inbound enquiries.
  • Article 6(1)(f) — for server and edge log data, to pursue our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website.

Third-party processors and recipients

We rely on a small number of third-party services to deliver this site:

  • Amazon Web Services — website hosting, API Gateway for the contact form, and email forwarding. The site is hosted in the eu-west-1 region (Ireland).
  • Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) — serves the typefaces used on the site. Google may receive your IP address and user-agent string when fonts are loaded.
  • Tailwind CDN (cdn.tailwindcss.com) — serves the CSS framework.
  • unpkg.com — serves the Three.js, globe.gl, and topojson libraries used for the home-page hero animation.

These providers act as independent processors or service providers under their own terms. They receive only what is necessary to deliver the requested resource.

Cookies

We do not set tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies on this site, and we do not use local storage to identify visitors. If browsers cache static assets from third-party CDNs listed above, that caching is governed by the browser and by those providers, not by us.

Data retention

Contact-form submissions are retained for as long as needed to handle your enquiry, and for up to 12 months thereafter for record-keeping. Server and edge logs are retained for approximately 30 days, after which they are deleted on a rolling basis. We may retain data for longer where required by law.

Your rights

Where the GDPR applies, you have the right to access your personal data, to request rectification or erasure, to request restriction of processing, to data portability, and to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Bulgaria, the Commission for Personal Data Protection (CPDP).

To exercise any of these rights, write to compliance@leapblockmarkets.com. We will respond within the timelines set by the GDPR.

International transfers

The site is hosted in the European Union (eu-west-1, Ireland). Some of our service providers, in particular Amazon Web Services and Google, are headquartered outside the EU and may process data in other jurisdictions, including the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism made available by the relevant provider.

Children

This site and the services described on it are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, in the services used by the site, or in applicable law. The effective date at the top of the page indicates when the current version took effect. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
